Recycle by City

Electronics should not be placed in your recycling or garbage cart.  

Old electronics can be recycled through many electronics retailers, such as Best Buy, Staples, or Dell. Or, they can be dropped off at the City's Household Chemical and Computer Recycling Facility.

Disposing of electronics properly is mandated by Illinois state law because electronics contain precious metals, rare earth elements, and toxic chemicals that shouldn't be landfilled.
